猫祭神社 ねこまつりじんじゃ
Nekomatsuri Shrine
人里離れた、山深い森の中にございます。全国よりたくさんの猫が参拝に訪れる、ねこの神社「猫祭神社」。拝殿の大きな丸い鈴がシンボルマークです。
Located deep within a remote mountain forest. “Nekomatsuri Shrine” is a feline sanctuary visited by cats from all over the country. Its symbol is the large, round bell at the Worship Hall.
爪とぎができる鳥居をくぐり、石畳の参道をお進みください。大きな魚の魚神像がお出迎え。境内には「日向社」・「炬燵社」・「七輪社」などお社があり、自由に参拝頂けます。
Pass through the claw-sharpening Torii gate and proceed along the stone-paved approach, where the large Divine Fish Statue awaits to greet you. Within the grounds, you are free to worship at various sub-shrines, including Hinata-sha (Shrine of the Sunbathing Cat Deity), Kotatsu-sha (Shrine of the Kotatsu Cat Deity), and Shichirin-sha (Shrine of the Grilled Fish Cat Deity).
